Cil assisted in carving the detailed decor on foam for the mantel piece atop the fireplace. They mapped out the design then carved with an X-acto knife and Dremel power tool.
They also carved the intricate decor of the sides of the fireplace with an X-acto knife and Dremel power tool.
They learned rag rolling and stenciling to add depth to the wallpaper. A range of values helped illustrate each layer from the navy blue base to the light blue stencil design.
They also learned about wood graining by first applying the base coat then going over with fine wood grains with a chip brush.
